Need help with childcare? We gotcha!
Huzzah! Thanks to coordination with Group 9, SOSA-WA members are afforded the RARE opportunity to not only tour the Trident Training Facility, but also SEE A LIVE, FUNCTIONING SUBMARINE! We’ve been able to offer annual tour of TTF, but what makes this so special is that we also get to see an actual Boomer.
Are you excited? Because I am. Do you want to go, but don’t have a sitter? We gotchu!
Please see the FaceBook event for schedule details. The submarine tour takes place first followed by an hour lunch break, then the TTF tour. Some very generous SOSA-WA members are volunteering their time to support childcare needs for the duration of the submarine tour ONLY. If you wish to also attend the TTF tour, childcare is on your own. Another opportunity to tour TTF will come in the fall, so be opn the lookout! If you would like to utilize this opportunity, please sign up for Submarine Tour Sitter Request.
To attend the tours, you MUST be a PAID SOSA-WA member. Please see our Membership page to complete the necessary form and pay dues. Membership registration does not guarantee tour attendance; you must also contact Maggie Moser, SOSA-WA President, with necessary information BY JAN. 22.
