The 2022 Auction is in the works!
March 12, 2022 at Bangor Plaza
Doors open at 5:00 pm!
Our fundraiser this year will be a silent and verbal auction, and the theme is based on the show, “Friends”.
Tickets are $25 (+$1.00 Credit Card Fee) until February 26, then it goes up to $35 (+$1.00 Credit Card Fee). Tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets can be purchased at https://sosca-wa.square.site/
Doors open at 5:00 pm to allow time to preview the amazing stuff that will be auctioned off. There will be several no-host bars open at various locations in the venue. We are having both a silent and verbal action. Silent auction will run 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm and Verbal will be at 8:00 pm.
The main course will be meatball subs (there will also be a vegetarian option). For dessert, we will be having our “Bring me the Sugar!” dessert dash competition. Tables will submit silent bid sheets stating the amount of dollars they are willing to spend to have first dibs on one of our scrumptious desserts from the beautiful dessert table. Many of the awesome desserts are being handmade by several of the SOSA members.
The fantastic “Friends Theme” table center pieces are also available for limited sale. They are $35.00 (+ $1.00 credit card fee) as a pre-purchased item and will be available for pickup at the end of the evening. Note, these items will be sold for $50 on the day of the event. You can place your pre-ordered at https://sosca-wa.square.site/ . We will have two center piece options:
- Cookie Basket: Basket full of a dozen yummy and impressive “Friends” theme sugar cookies made by Sugar Studios Sweet Shop (Silverdale, WA) along with a handmade Seattle Skyline silhouette perfect for framing.
- Coffee Basket: Basket with a 30 oz “Reactor Juice” Polar Camel Brand travel coffee mug and a bag of “Silent Service” dark roast coffee beans from Old Salt Coffee Company (Kahuku, HI).
Our fundraisers raise thousands of dollars for local charities that benefit sailors and their families plus the Dolphin Scholarship Foundation. In 2019 (before the pandemic) we were able to donate over $26,000 to many deserving charities as a result of our annual Silver and Gold Auction. The fundraisers are a wonderful opportunity to come together as Submariners to demonstrate support for our unique community.

We have a very talented auction committee who is working really hard to make the 2022 auction an amazing event. If you are interested in volunteering to help the auction committee in the planning of this event, please contact us at Silverandgoldauction@gmail.com.
